Dear Friend,

Join me for this year’s "I Choose To Wait" 5K Walk/Run!

Date/Time: Saturday, September 17, 2016 from 9 a.m.-12 p.m.

Location: Prince George's Sports & Learning Complex, 8001 Sheriff Road, Landover, MD

Cost: FREE!

Your participation would mean so much to me and to the hundreds of young people in our local community who choose abstinence and positive behavior. I invite you to walk or run alongside me to show your support or just join us to cheer on those participating in our Walk/Run. If you can't make it that day, please make a tax deductible donation to help Family Restoration and Healing Center, Inc. help our youth and their families succeed.

Here Are Four Ways You Can Join in:

  1. Invite others to register to walk with you to show youth we support their success!

  2. Donate for continued abstinence education and positive youth development programing in our community: https://publicgood.com/org/family-restoration-and-healing-center-inc/donate

All donations are tax deductible and can be made now or onsite at the 5K Walk/Run.

  1. Join our “Find 10 to give 10” challenge! Set a fundraising goal and find 10 family members or friends to give $10 or more to support you in this 5K Walk/Run. To make sure you get credit for your sponsors, ask them to include your name with their donation at: https://publicgood.com/org/family-restoration-and-healing-center-inc/donate. Their donations are tax deductible.

  2. Share your progress and your pictures on the day of the race. Like us on Facebook www.facebook.com/360Wholeness or follow us on Twitter at twitter.com/360Wholeness.

By participating in this 5K Walk/Run, you will help raise much-needed awareness about youth making good decisions (such as choosing to wait) and provided vital support for abstinence education and other youth development programs that help our youth successfully transitioning to adulthood.

I appreciate your support and hope to see you at this year’s 5K walk/run!
